Description
Giant clams are ten times larger than a normal scallop. They are seen as dark purple. Their lips are light purple, the inside of their mouths are light gray, and their tongues are light pink.
Role in series
"Tea at the Treedome"
Template:Link rescues Template:Link, but the former then gets stuck in the clam's mouth. Sandy tosses the giant clam in the air and it falls to its demise. However, SpongeBob is freed.
"No Free Rides"
SpongeBob sees a sign that reads "Giant Clams" and huge clams start eating him while he is holding onto his boat, being driven by Mrs. Puff.
"The Smoking Peanut"
SpongeBob is seen throwing a peanut at a giant clam named "Clamu," causing her to wake up in an emotional outburst.
"Clams"
A giant clam named "Old Bluelip" appears as the main antagonist. During the episode, he ends up eating Template:Link' millionth dollar. At the end of the episode, Bluelip gives back the dollar but eats most of Krabs' body.
"The Thing"
A giant clam snaps at Template:Link when he is thrown into the animal control truck after they mistake him for an unknown creature.
"Born to Be Wild"
Template:Link and SpongeBob hide in one until it spits them out. The other clam asks if he is okay.
"Porous Pockets"
A giant clam chokes on a pearl, which SpongeBob and Patrick take, use for volleyball and sell, which triggers the former to be very rich, thus angering the latter.
"Sold!"
A giant clam has a "Price Reduced" sign, a "Pool Home" sign, and a "Foreclosure" sign. It is seen on Patrick's TV at the beginning of the commercial featuring Nick Fishkins.
"The Clam Whisperer"
A giant clam a lot bigger than a boatmobile is seen eating Paco in the said vehicle while SpongeBob talks about types of clams.
"Patnocchio"
A giant clam swallows up Geppetto and Pinocchio after escaping Template:Link's stomach.
