Incidental 39[1] is a fish who is commonly seen as a food vendor in many episodes. He first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants."
He is seen working at a hot dog stand, a balloon stand, at Ice Cream, at Barg'N-Mart, at Flipper's Donuts, and many other places.
Names[edit]
- In "Party Pooper Pants," he is named Lou.
- In "Mooncation," SpongeBob calls him Mr. Bakerman.
Description[edit]
He is a light orange fish with a light tan underside and dark blue fins, legs and dorsal fin. He wears a white, messy apron and a light blue shirt and a white hat.
He has visible nostrils in most of his appearances. In "Party Pooper Pants," "Mooncation," and "Patrick-Man!," his model is slightly altered to give him stubble. His nostrils are removed in this model. His "Mooncation" and "Patrick-Man!" design is also a darker orange.

Incidental 39 is a somewhat common incidental character, he has had multiple jobs throughout the series, and occasionally appears in crowds of other incidentals.

"Ripped Pants"[edit]
He appears as an ice cream vendor at Goo Lagoon where he was unamused by SpongeBob's stale ripped pants puns.
"Walking Small"[edit]
He appears as an ice cream vendor at Goo Lagoon where SpongeBob tries to purchase an ice cream cone from him, unfortunately for SpongeBob Incidental 103 and Incidental EHS5 have bought the last of his ice cream cones.
"Neptune's Spatula"[edit]
He appears as a hotdog vendor at the Fry Cook Museum where King Neptune assumes that he is the chef that pulled his spatula out of the greasy griddle, though he then replies to him that he didn't make the hotdogs, he just sells them.
"Bubble Buddy"[edit]
He tries to sell snacks to people waiting for the bathroom while a drink vendor tries to sell them ice-cold drinks.
"Life of Crime"[edit]
He appears as a balloon vendor where SpongeBob and Patrick believe they "stole" a balloon from him, being unaware that it was national free balloon day.
"Sailor Mouth"[edit]
He is seen driving an ice cream truck.

He offers fish sticks for $1.

He is seen at the Krusty Krab.

He appears as a cashier at the Barg'N-Mart where he mock SpongeBob for attempting to fly.

He is seen when SpongeBob after the crash between the Grandma's Pie and the Whoppe Cushion trucks.

He is seen when tells the residents of the Bikini Bottom that Patrick is not the king.

He appears as a torch salesman for the angry mob.

He appears as an ice cream vendor at Bikini Bottom where SpongeBob gives him a handful of cash for two ice cream cones. He later leaves his stand to hang out with Incidental 40, Bert, and Incidental 108.
