Incidental 178, also known as the mystery man, and Incidental FG8, is a background character who first appears in the episode "Good Ol' Whatshisname," which he also plays a major role in.

Description

He is a light green wrinkled fish fish, with darker colored spots on his head, orange lips, gray eyebrows, and gray hair on the sides of his head. He wears a turtleneck sweater in this that is either teal with a light blue collar, or orange with a yellow collar, dark blue pants, and brown shoes

He is lavender, with brown spots on his head, darker colored lips, no eyebrows, and a purple dorsal fin. He is shown wearing a gray jacket, a white shirt underneath, a light blue tie, brown pants, and black shoes

Role in series

"Good Ol' Whatshisname"

When Template:Link first asks his name for a context between him and Template:Link to earn a prize, his answer sounds like he is annoyed: "What's it to ya?" After many attempts to learn his name, Squidward steals his wallet, and after being chased by him and Incidental 118, he looks at his driver's license to discover that the customer's name is literally "What Zit Tooya" as in "What's it to ya?"

After stealing His wallet, Squidward is arrested by the man's request.

"High Sea Diving"

He is seen at Old Man Jenkins' party at the Shady Shoals Rest Home. He later walks away back into the retirement home with the other seniors when Jenkins gets lifted to the surface by his birthday balloons.

"The Ghost of Plankton"

He appears at Template:Link's funeral. He then stomps angrily on the Flying Dutchman, who is possessing Plankton's body due to believing that Plankton faked his death. He later steps on Plankton once he reclaims his body.

"Bubble Bass's Tab"

He is seen writing a check to Mr. Krabs in order to get Bubble Bass's tab all paid up.

"Krusty Koncessionaires"

He is part of the audience of the Low Tides concert.

• According to his license, he is 7 inches and weighs 5 ounces.
  • As well as this, he lives on 150 Shell Street in Bikini Bottom.
• Despite him having visible hair, his license says that he has no hair.
• In the Croatian dub, his name is "Šta Te Briga," which translates to "What Do You Care."
  • It means the same in the European Spanish dub, as he is called "Y A Usted Que Le Importa."
